So, here I am in Tampa. Been here for 12 years and finally see a localized skateboarding discussion group. Unfortunately, nobody friggin' posts anything. Anybody go to SPOT recently? Bro Bowl? Central? Blue 10 or TECO 9? Does anybody in this group actually skate? Somebody's gotta! Where are you (hopefully skating)?
P.S. if anybody surfs too, then shout out!

Re: Wha???
Thu, April 8, 2004 - 6:52 AMWow!
I know exactly how you feel. Several years ago I fell on a 10 set in downtown Tampa. I ended up breaking a vertabrae, herniating 2 discs, broke 10 bones in my left foot and had to have most of the meniscus in my right knee removed, leaving only a part of to absorb any shock. So, after years of PT and so forth I am now getting back into skating (although I'm not doing anything huge). Now you can find me at the park or on a smaller street setup having fun.
So, do you go to the Van's Skatepark out in O-town? I've done some skating in downtown O-town, too. Lots of really good spots. -

Re: Wha???
Thu, April 29, 2004 - 8:00 AMi actually have never been to a skate park. there is downy park right up the raod from my house that has a very small skate area and everything moves(as in you can move the ramps around) i won 4 tickets to go to vans off the radio(along with a mountain dew santa cruise complete) but i gave them away to a charity event and kept the skateboard.
i actually have a mini park in my 3 car garage.. there is a fun box, low rail and two 3 foot high by 6 feet wide ramps on either side of the garage you can drop in on
